This is the final version of my website, the link above leading to the website.

The finished design is quite different to the original mock up design I created. This changed after discussing with peers on how to improve the website and looking at other alternative genre music bands home pages. By doing this it allowed me to gain a objectively more professional look than it previously was.

Previous version:

Some of the features in my old website design have carried across to the newest version.

Features such as:

• The 'New Album' text
• Images (however they have moved and become more of a collage)

Above is the final version of the Glass Animals digipak for the music video 'Hazey'. After taking feedback from peers in my class originally having a version without any logos or small print, my peers also advised having a more synchronised black bars on my work which links in for my plan for the video to have letterbox formatting to make it look more professional and alternative in genre as  stylist choices conventionally take precedence over narrative especially on smaller budgeted videos. To ensure continuity between my video digipak and website homepage I have included pictures and screenshots of the videos to ensure continuity throughout. The front cover, back cover and disk picture are all screenshots fro within the video while the insert page is picture taken when filming.

The logos for 'Newland Music' and the 'compact disc logo' create a conventional and professional feel to the Digipak. This logo also appears on the website as a music producer in nearly always around to help build brand awareness for the company.

The image above shows the draft of my website put into Wix, to preserve continuity between the digipak, the music video and the website I have used a screenshot of the music video as the top banner of my website. This is only the first draft of website however, and will need a lot of adjustments to full show the potential.

To find potential improvements to the website I will get a control group to give feedback on what would create a more user friendly and more conventional alternative band website.

To ensure I knew what I was doing before creating my website in Wix I used Photoshop, which is software that I am comfortable using to create a plan for the page of the website. This will help me from straying too far when creating the website. I have used placeholder picture until I go and take mine.

My websites creation will also be shown in video format in a later blog post.
